Dear Neighbors and Friends,
Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here.
This blog emerges at the intersection of my work, my studies, and my ongoing questions about how individuals and communities grow and transform. As part of my graduate project, I am exploring the relationship between spiritual education, community-building, and the development of capacities that enable us to contribute meaningfully to the world around us, particularly how resources like Brilliant Star magazine can be used to cultivate spiritual education among children and junior youth (8-12 years) of diverse intercultural backgrounds across an entire neighborhood, nurturing their sense of purpose, connection, and participation in community life.
I have over 15 years of experience working with children, junior youth, youth, and communities through initiatives grounded in Transformative Leadership and Ruhi Institute educational process, a series of age-appropriate classes covering grades 1-4. The curriculum follows a pattern of learning that integrates the practice of transcendence through prayer, the memorization of the Sacred Word, stories, art, and games, fostering in children a love of knowledge, an open attitude toward learning, and a constant desire to investigate reality.
This blog is a space to share that learning alongside my Cultivating Character Rich in Gems practium project, placing Brilliant Star magazines in my neighborhood free library.
